Scott & Charters was founded in Hawick in 1955. A family run business for over three generations whose reputation was built on principles of service and quality.

Acquired by Alex Begg in 2020, leaders in the design and manufacture of premium textiles synonymous with quality, care and attention to detail, that ethos will continue to flourish.

Alex Begg will continue to develop the workforce whose skills and craftsmanship are honed by years of experience and knowledge - commodities which are hard to find in today’s throw away world.
